A lot of you might already know that Google announced the release of Google Ad Planner. This free media research and planner tool allows advertisers/agencies to find the Web sites that match their desired target audiences so that they can decide where to spend their advertising dollars. This tool along with other tools such as Google Analytics Benchmarking, Google Trends for Websites positions Google well in competition with Nielsen , Quantcast, Hitwise and Compete. News plane makes emergency landing in Oakland (Oakland Tribune)

The pilot of a news aircraft was injured Monday afternoon after making an emergency landing near an onramp to the Bay Bridge. A Cessna 172 being flown for KCBS had mechanical problems while flying over the freeway near the MacArthur Maze. The pilot, identified by authorities as Richard Liu, 36, started having engine problems at about 2,000 feet.

Harry Reid, the mental midget who runs the US Senate, has declared that coal and oil make us sick. According to the Wizard of Odd we humans take carbon out of the ground and put it in the air and it makes us sick and it causes global warming. The same Harry Reid who could not pour water out of a bucket if the directions were written on the bottom is using his vast intelligence to tell us that all the oil and coal that we use is making us sick. Even for an industry awash in bad news, the newspaper business went through one of its most severe retrenchments in recent memory last week. Half a dozen newspapers said they would slash payrolls, one said it would outsource all its printing, and Tribune Co., one of the biggest publishers in the country, said it might sell its iconic. . .
