News plane makes emergency landing in Oakland (Oakland Tribune)

The pilot of a news aircraft was injured Monday afternoon after making an emergency landing near an onramp to the Bay Bridge. A Cessna 172 being flown for KCBS had mechanical problems while flying over the freeway near the MacArthur Maze. The pilot, identified by authorities as Richard Liu, 36, started having engine problems at about 2,000 feet.
